This back yard was drab and dreary when the owners bought the house (top photo). We worked with the couple to create a lovely entertaining space with a spacious patio, curving seat wall, and a funky mixture of plants for a part shade 4-season garden space. The homeowners wanted to install the garden in stages, so we started with the seat wall and plantings, and then installed the patio the following spring. We often do projects this way as it helps the clients budget for various items over a period of time.
